6" Interconnector Cable for Dotless Driveless COB

The 6" Interconnector Cable for Dotless Driverless COB LED Strip Lights has been created to easily connect two Driverless COB LED Strip Lights. The interconnector cable is the perfect solution for installation around sharp corners, bends, or even through a wall. The interconnector cable is 12.4 inches (1.03ft) in total length, the white center wire is 7.5 inches (0.63ft) long. To create a waterproof connection on each end of the interconnector cable, silicone waterproofing compound is required. The interconnector cable heads are made to provide a simple slide-in solution for connecting strips and a clear plastic clampdown lid ensures a secure connection.
 

To Install:

1. Grab a pair of disposable gloves and put them on.
2. CAREFULLY use a sharp blade to remove the silicone on top of the positive and negative terminals on the pieces you wish to connect. Make sure there is no silicone remaining on the pads. Take care to not cut the center phosphate strip or you may expose the light diodes.
3. Slide the long ends of the prong pieces into the connector heads with the flat side of plastic barrier facing down and the rounded side facing up.
4. After orienting your cut strips to match the positive and negative terminals noted on the connector heads, firmly slide the strips into the connector heads making sure the flat ends of the prongs touch the tops of the exposed terminal pads.
5. CAREFULLY test your connection. DO NOT touch exposed ends of the strip or connectors. Making contact with 120V may cause serious injury or death.
6. After confirming the connection is successful remove the unit from power.
7. Use silicone compound to cover the exposed terminal pads in the connector heads.
8. Attach the clear connector head covers and firmly close until the covers lock into place. We recommend leaving the unit to dry thoroughly for at least 12 hours before handling or installing.
