RGB Stands for Red, Green and Blue. Color changing led strips are made up of 3 primary colors (Red, Green & Blue). With these 3 colors, you can create any color on the spectrum by combining different values of each color. Solid Apollo’s color changing LED strips are made with 150 and 300 units per spool of a 3 color LED chip. Using the 3 basic colors of Light, RED, GREEN and BLUE, you can create over 16 million different colors using any of our RGB LED controllers.
The easiest way to achieve color changes or color fading effects is through an RGB Controller. There are many types of RGB controllers, from simple to Radio Controlled, or even computer controlled! These strips come usually in 16.4 Feet spools.
